Fedor doesn't need to drop to prove anything dude is 230 usually and tools much larger men. not to mention the list of fantastic HW talent he's beat.
Ando vs Shogun would be an epic fight! snydes man why are you calling out Silva on his wins? Cote and Leites were weak granted, but Franklin, Hendo, Forrest come on he's got a great win list. this fight with Vitor is going to be awesome expecting a few minutes of feel out then an explosion. oh and voting for Silva love watching him wreck shit!

I think Ando belongs at 205 now ... same way that GSP belongs at 185 ... they have wiped out those weight classes and now it is time to move up ... I think BJ belongs at 155 until he takes out Aoki, etc.

I meant holding them at the same time. And besides, you can't compare Randy to Ando. Ando has been absolutely dominant for a long time. Randy moved around because he got spanked. There is a big difference between changing weight class because you are losing and changing weight class because you are fucking bored of having no competition. IMO Ando is WAY ahead of Randy as an all time great.

That is a crazy thing to say. Randy has never had an easy fight, everyone of his fights up until the year always seems to be for the title against a top level guy. Ando has a lot of fights against guys like Cote or Irvin. IMO, Randy has takent he tougher road and is in the same ball park overall on the all-time list as Ando. I'd actually rank Randy ahead of Ando all-time based on level of competition.

What i'm saying is, Ando has been dominant and is weight hopping because he's bored. Randy has not been dominant (albeit against better comp, i admit), and his weight hopping has been due to losses.

But Handy's losses were to Lesnar and Barnett when he hopped out of the HWs ... I don't think Ando has ever fought a guy who outweighed him by more than 60 pounds? Sid said it best, level of competition. Ando moves up in weight and beats Irvin, big Fn deal. At leats when guys like Handy and BJ move up, they fight the top guys in that weight class. Ando's record is a bit padded.

Ando's record is padded that's a bit far. Irvin may not have been the toughest 205er they could have given him but a 1 minute fight is impressive followed by Forrest at 205. he's also beat the best MW has to offer(save Vitor for now). Randy took a hard road and deserves his cred but lets not try to take what Silva has earned in the process.

Exactly. Randy has had the harder road for sure, but Ando's dominance has been the greater.

I agree, but the reality is that if Ando tried to walk down the same road that Handy walked down, his record would have more blemishes.
